• This high-performance samurai katana features a blade with a large V-shape, which reduces resistance when chopping. The blade gradually widens from the base to the tip and is gradually thinner in the axial direction. It is quenched with oil and water, providing high elasticity and hardness. The blade can cut through iron and 9 cans of beer without damage, and it can withstand being run over by a car or being bent 80 degrees without deformation. The blade is made of spring steel and is manually ground 14 times. The hardness is 58. The sheath is made of locally sourced hardwood from Longquan and is painted. The blade is forged as one piece. It is hand-forged and goes through various traditional Longquan sword manufacturing processes such as blanking, hot calcining, shoveling, filing, grinding, quenching, tempering, and manual grinding.
