• This katana features a tri-color brass sheath engraved with a ‘Tiger Descending Mountain’ design, and a blade etched with a unique peacock pattern. The sheath is made from pure copper, delicately engraved and polished, using traditional gilding techniques in gold, silver and copper. The sheath is wrapped in copper by hand, enhancing its moisture resistance and preventing the sword from shrinking and cracking over time. The handle is covered in genuine fish skin and wrapped in cord. The blade is made from patterned steel, forged by hand and finely hand polished.
