- The prototype of this magnificent Japanese sword is the Kin Nashiji family emblem San Shi painted sheath guard sword. The ‘Guard’ refers to the ancient six guards in Japan, who were responsible for the emperor’s security affairs, equivalent to the close sword guards in ancient China, and the current Central Security Corps. This sword is hand-forged with high-performance patterned steel, engraved with exclusive patterns, quenched by ancient methods, and finely ground by hand. The fittings are made of exquisite brass and treated with a retro style. The scabbard is a wood core wrapped in pearl fish skin, making it easy to maintain and of very high value.
